This year has started with lots of still life work and works on paper. 

A winter residency to the Alpujarras Mountains in southern Spain has given life to a body of work more colourful than my usual palette, oranges and pinks have dominated in the spring orchard pieces, documenting an abundance of almond groves bursting with life in February. What a joy at that time of year.
